Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of young learners. Your primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.

Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to enhance students' cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Plan and deliver lessons that incorporate various teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Utilize learning technology to enhance instruction and engage students in interactive learning experiences
- Provide individualized support to students with special education needs or learning difficulties
- Foster effective communication with parents/guardians through regular updates on student progress and parent-teacher conferences
- Promote literacy education by incorporating reading, writing, and language development activities into daily lessons

Requirements:
- Must meet the state of Michigan certification requirements to teach at the Kindergarten level, (ZG or qualifying Kindergarten endorsement)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with children with autism or other special needs
- Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
